Bourbon Vieux, located in the heart of Bourbon Street, is the premier venue for New Orleans weddings, private parties, corporate events, association and social events. Reserve your spot on our Bourbon Street balcony for Mardi Gras 2014.
Your guests will enjoy the centuries-old architecture and the spirit of the historic New Orleans French Quarter as they relax on our covered balcony, the largest on Bourbon Street. We can comfortably accommodate anywhere from 50 to 500 people in our 3,555 square foot event venue. We can even provide for 750 people when we combine the space with our restaurant downstairs.
In the past, Bourbon Vieux was known as Dan’s Pier 600 Club, and was home to a famous Jazz musician and trumpet player named Al Hirt. Hirt graced this space with his famous trumpet tunes and jazz music in the 1950s and early 60s.
The Bourbon Vieux has been fully renovated to restore our special venue's French Quarter historical ambience and has been enhanced with modern audio/visual and lighting conveniences. Bourbon Vieux has all those special touches that make this Bourbon Street event space feel right. Stunning chandeliers and sconces, an exposed brick wall, a romantic damask foyer, hand painted gold leaf details, a huge balcony, and other special touches offer elegance with a Vieux.
