Bourbon Vieux, located in the heart of Bourbon Street, is the premier venue for New Orleans weddings, private parties, corporate events, association and social events. Reserve your spot on our Bourbon Street balcony for Mardi Gras 2014.
Your guests will enjoy the centuries-old architecture and the spirit of the historic New Orleans French Quarter as they relax on our covered balcony, the largest on Bourbon Street. We can accommodate 50-500 people in our upstairs 3,555 square foot venue, and even up to 750 people when combined with our facility downstairs.
In the past, Bourbon Vieux was known as Dan’s Pier 600 Club, and was home to a famous Jazz musician and trumpet player named Al Hirt. Throughout the 1950s and 60s, this space was graced by the famous trumpet tunes and live jazz music performed by Mr. Hirt.
The Bourbon Vieux has been fully renovated to restore our special venue's French Quarter historical ambience and has been enhanced with modern audio/visual and lighting conveniences. With our romantic atmosphere, exposed brick wall, stunning chandeliers and sconces, hand painted gold leaf details, and large covered balcony, our Bourbon Street event space offers elegance with a Vieux!
