Bourbon Vieux is the premier event venue in the French Quarter, located in the heart of Bourbon Street, and perfect for your New Orleans wedding, social event, corporate event, private party or Mardi Gras celebration. Reserve your spot on our Bourbon Street balcony for Mardi Gras 2014.
Bourbon Vieux boasts the largest covered balcony on Bourbon Street, where guests can appreciate the centuries-old architecture and the spirit of the French Quarter in historic New Orleans. We can accommodate 50-500 people in our upstairs 3,555 square foot venue, and even up to 750 people when combined with our facility downstairs.
Years ago, Bourbon Vieux (formerly Dan’s Pier 600 Club) was home to Al Hirt, a famous jazz musician and trumpet player. Throughout the 1950s and 60s, this space was graced by the famous trumpet tunes and live jazz music performed by Mr. Hirt.
Our venue has been fully renovated to include modern audio-visual and lighting systems, so you can have both the charm of a historic French Quarter building with all the conveniences of a new building. An exposed brick wall, hand painted gold leaf details, dramatic damask foyer and stunning chandeliers and sconces are just some of the touches that make Bourbon Vieux the best Bourbon Street event space – offering elegance with a Vieux!
